About Us
H&M Interiors are a bespoke furniture company who design and
manufacture quality furniture for the home.
The company was established in 2004 by husband and wife
Mark and Heather Nixon.
Heather had previously worked as an interior designer for
architectural practices in both London and Colchester, whilst Mark had
worked as a cabinet maker for one of the country’s leading bespoke
kitchen manufacturers for fifteen years.
The aim of the company is to make quality furniture which is both
functional as well as aesthetically pleasing, paying particular attention
to clients requirements and over the past years, H&M Interiors have built
a first class reputation with a large proportion of their work coming
from client recommendation.
After an initial design meeting, hand drawn plans, elevations,
sketches and estimates are prepared.
The furniture is then manufactured in the company workshop in Earls Colne.
The customer then has the opportunity to view the furniture in
the workshop prior to delivery. This is particularly helpful with regards
to kitchen furniture. The client is able to see how the finished product
will look once installed in their home.
The furniture will then be fitted professionally by an experienced
team with painted furniture having the final coat hand painted on site.
H&M Interiors use a variety of solid timbers for their furniture
including solid ash, maple, oak and walnut all sourced from
sustainable forests.Worktops - granite, composite and solid timber.
Painted furniture is made from tulipwood (poplar).
Kitchens start from around £10,000.
Dressers/wardrobes from around £2,000.
